Hi everyone....

This is going to be a totally different post. One unlike any I have posted thus far. So here goes my shot at newness.......

I have been really going through a lot in the last few weeks. A depression has seemed to set in over me and I am totally clueless as to where it originated from or how to stop it. I could really use some prayer for this because I can't go on living like this. I do know that I am slightly depressed over the upcoming holiday's Thanksgiving and Christmas because this will be the first I attempt to celebrate these festivities with my family torn. This separation between my parents eats away at me more than I let on. I am also worried about my brother because I don't know how he is dealing with everything. I am just really worn out and really need some prayer and support. Thanks and God Bless.

In Christ,
Big K

One Thousand Apologies
see related
I heard this song off of Demon Hunters new cd and I new I had to post it on here. I dedicate this song to someone I hurt really bad in a past relationship. She knows who she is and I wish everyday I could take back the lies I fed her and the pain I caused her. This song is dedicated to you........

Artist:Demon Hunter
Album:The Triptych
Song:One Thousand Apologies

There you stood in disbelief,
trying all you could to see through these lies
And every word that I could brethe,
would find you more inclined to leave, but I tried
And knowing what I've done to you,
with every thought you suffer through
My heart as black as evil can
And everything I could have been,
erased by what I wanted then
I couldn't think a lesser man

(Pre-chorus:)
All the delicate ways
That I deepened our graves
My apology pales

(Chorus:)
Oh, the pain in your eyes
My regrets have never known such sorrow
Oh, the shame that you hide
Resolutions are the same tomorrow

So now I reap what I have sewn, and any rapture I had shown has bled dry
And I walked the streets alone, accepting the pain I'd never known, as you died
Then I hurt myself to see it too, to feel the knife I put in you
My heart as broken as my ways
I never should've let it pass, this fall was never meant to last
The reason gone and damage stays

(Pre-chorus)

(Chorus)

(Pre-chorus)

Wow am I ticked off and disappointed in our society! I am also glad that I have set myself apart from the secular and its utter stupidity and incompetence. I recently was informed by a friend of mine that one of the top songs on the secular radio is entitled “My Hump.” He went on to tell me how degrading and morally deficient this song is. I have to admit I was curious as to how bad a song could be that is playing on the radio to millions of children each day and deemed a “top song,” so I investigated. I will admit that after reading the lyrics (which I will post below) I have lost most of my hope for the competence and limpidness of our society. Not only do the lyrics of this song lack any coherent thought, but it is nothing but a cesspool of filth and ineptitude. This song is about one thing and one thing only…… sex. The basic idea is that the girl the song is about foolishly believes that by having sex with men, “getting her “hump” on,” she is worth something. She also uses sex to get what she wants. So in review, we are teaching the young girls (this could be your daughter) that it is okay to have sex because it is the only way you will be worth anything and the best way to get what you want. We are aso teaching our young boys (this could be your son) that it is okay to objectify women, which is done so much in society as is and is one of the largest downfalls in our society and puts men on the level or below the level of animals. (Great job men, now when women say men are animals or scum, we are even worse than both of these!)  This song is so astoundingly filthy and chock-full of lustful deceit that it proves that our society has fallen to the level of Sodom and Gomorra. (and we know what happened to those cities!) In short, I can not believe how sad our society is when they are willing to accept such repulsive smut on our radio.  America….. no THE WORLD, we NEED to turn from the path we are heading down. We shouldn’t be willing to accept this filth in our society! We should stand against it! I will close my comments with this…… God, please forgive our society for they know not what they do!

What you gon’ do with all that junk?
All that junk inside your trunk?

The boys they wanna sex me.
They always standing next to me,
Always dancing next to me,

And move my hump.

Spendin all your money on me and spendin’ time on me
She’s got me spendin’.
Spendin’ all your money on me, on me, on me.

Whelp, I put this off long enough....... here is the men's list of what they shouldn't/should wear in order to help guard our sister's hearts....
  1. Wear pants that fit and don't show your boxers. This is really common and really hurts our sisters in Christ.
  2. Please wear shirts when in the presence of a female. This is a HUGE stumbling block for our sisters.
  3. Don't wear skin tight shirts or pants.
I have also discovered that women don't really stumble as much with the physical appearance as much as they do with his words and actions.... so a warning:

  • BE CAREFUL WITH HOW YOU PRESENT YOURSELF TO A WOMAN!!!
    • In other words, watch what you say, do, and how you act.
    • Certain things we may say or do can cause a woman to put thoughts into her head that are not that good.
    • It can also send out the wrong signal, like she may think that if you always give her hugs and are really nice to her that you like her as more than a friend.
So be careful men! We need to make sure we are guarding our sister's hearts.

Until next time......

BIG K

Moment of Truth
By Da T.R.U.T.H.

I feel called to post something that has been on my heart a ton. Now I do not want anyone to feel like I am personally attacking them, I am just simply providing some info that people don't always realize....

This post is about some outfits that females tend to wear that are extreme stumbling blocks for men. I understand that you may not always realize that these outfits are stumbling blocks, but trust me, they are. Now granted, some guys are affected in different ways, but in general these types of clothing hurt your brothers spiritual walk and may bring you some unwanted attention. Trust me, what may be the current "fashion statement" could also be something that is making the guys around you to be viewing you as "a piece of meat" rather than a beautiful woman of God. Once again... I am not attacking anyone in particular..... I am just trying to help.....

So here is the list:

  1. Short Skirts
  2. Mid-drifts (if we can see your stomach or lower back)
  3. shorts and sweat pants that say things on the butt
  4. REALLY tight clothing.... shorts, pants, shirts.... anything that is really tight....
  5. Shirts that expose cleavage
  6. Really short shorts
  7. those shirts that have lining around the breasts and "accent" them
  8. some strapless or spaghetti strap tops
I hope I didn't sound to graphic or lewd with that list.... but that is the best I could do...... I hope you take these things to heart and understand I am only trying to help.... not hurt.
Until next time, God bless!

Big K
